Refund & Claims Policy

At IPRETTY CO., LTD., we are committed to supplying authentic Japanese beauty, personal care, household, baby, and FMCG products to our wholesale customers worldwide.

As a B2B wholesale supplier, all orders are processed based on confirmed quotations and customer purchase decisions. Please review the following policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Inspection Upon Receipt

Customers are responsible for inspecting all goods immediately upon receipt.

Any claim regarding damaged, defective, missing, or incorrectly shipped products must be submitted within 7 calendar days after delivery.

Claims submitted after this period may not be accepted.

2. Eligible Claims

We may review claims relating to the following situations:

  • Products damaged during transportation
  • Incorrect products shipped
  • Missing products compared to the confirmed packing list
  • Verified manufacturing defects affecting normal use

To submit a claim, please contact us and provide:

  • Order number or quotation reference number
  • Product name and JAN code
  • Detailed description of the issue
  • Clear photographs showing the issue
  • Photos of the shipping carton and packaging, if applicable

All claims are subject to review and approval by IPRETTY CO., LTD.

3. Non-Returnable and Non-Refundable Situations

As a wholesale distributor, IPRETTY does not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for the following reasons:

  • Customer changes of mind
  • Unsold inventory
  • Market demand changes
  • Pricing fluctuations
  • Import restrictions in the destination country
  • Customs clearance issues
  • Product registration issues
  • Labeling or regulatory requirements outside Japan
  • Minor packaging updates made by manufacturers
  • Differences in packaging design, language, or appearance that do not affect product quality

All sales are considered final unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Product Availability and Manufacturer Changes

Manufacturers may update product packaging, ingredients, specifications, or product appearance without prior notice.

Such changes do not constitute product defects and are not grounds for return, refund, or compensation.

5. Return Authorization

No products may be returned without prior written authorization from IPRETTY.

Unauthorized returns may be refused and returned to the sender at the sender's expense.

6. Resolution of Approved Claims

If a claim is approved, IPRETTY may, at its sole discretion:

  • Provide replacement products
  • Issue a partial refund
  • Issue a credit toward a future order
  • Arrange another commercially reasonable solution

The specific resolution will depend on the nature of the claim and product availability.

7. Limitation of Liability

IPRETTY's liability shall be limited to the invoiced value of the affected products.

Under no circumstances shall IPRETTY be liable for:

  • Lost profits
  • Business interruption
  • Loss of customers
  • Indirect damages
  • Consequential damages
  • Regulatory penalties in the destination country

8. FOB Shipments

For orders supplied under FOB terms, risk transfers to the buyer once the goods are delivered to the designated carrier in accordance with the agreed Incoterms.

Customers are encouraged to arrange appropriate cargo insurance where necessary.
